This past weekend I traveled down to Milwaukee for Stacey and Jake’s engagement session. We had a blast traveling around Milwaukee, sneaking around the workers at Boerner Botanical Gardens, and dodging other engaged couples downtown at the Milwaukee Art Museum/Calatrava. I’m so excited for the wedding in October!
I don’t even know where to begin to describe this session, what an amazing day! Time certainly flies when you’re having fun — we had a blast talking about past jobs and getting our favorite treats at Emy J’s. But I’ll cut to the chase - here’s the proof:
Yes, if you’ve ever been on a tour of the Stevens Point Brewery, you might recognize this Hospitality Room. Anthony used to work at the brewery, and they were more than happy to let us run around and take a few engagment photos! We love you Point Brewery!

I went down to Madison a couple weeks ago for Katie and CJ’s engagement session, a little worried that we wouldn’t be able to find any greenery (because things sure weren’t green up here!)…luckily Madison was ahead of us - there were Magnolia trees in bloom! These are all at the UW Arboretum:
Yes, finally, here are more from the lovely couple you may recognize from one of my earlier posts. I had such a fun time photographing this engagement session! It seemed like we were all over Manhattan taking photos, but in reality we did pretty much stick to the midtown area.
I’m so happy everything worked out the way it did. Kelly and Cesar are new doctors, and with such crazy schedules it was tricky finding a time where all of us were available. That is why this session was done at night. But I don’t think I would have asked for it any other way, we had fun!
