I love to get out and explore new places for photography, so I was excited to meet Travis and Kim in Eau Claire for their engagement session. We had fun finding great spots for photographs at the parks and around UW Eau Claire, I can’t wait until their wedding in September!
Here are a couple quick engagement photos taken of Scott and Heather of Stevens Point, WI. After spending the afternoon with these two, I could tell their wedding would be a ton of fun!
When I was traveling down to Capron, Illinois for Heidi and David’s wedding, I noticed a bunch of metal scattered throughout a farm field. It didn’t take long to realize that a tornado had passed through town the night before! Luckily, the church was still standing, and people were already starting to clean up their yards. Seeing piles of tree limbs on the sides of the streets like this one was common:
But Heidi and David still had a great wedding! David’s home was not far from the church, so he walked around the piles of brush to the church.
We stuck to our original plans of taking photos in the garden at David’s home, even though we had to navigate through caution tape and downed power lines!
You wouldn’t even know that there was storm damage!
And we even found a flower still standing!
Thank you Heidi and David for being so kind, your friends and family are amazing and Mike and I were honored to be able to capture your beautiful wedding!
Jeffrey and Kelly had a gorgeous wedding here in Stevens Point and Plover! They traveled all the way from San Diego for their Wisconsin wedding, what a trip! Lindsey of Lindsey Marie Photography did a great job as my lovely assistant for the day. We both had a blast photographing such a lively wedding party, and a truly amazing couple!
I wish I could show all the crazy acrobatic photos I have of these groomsmen! 
Of course with all the time we had between the wedding ceremony and reception, the wedding party could not resist stopping at Belt’s for some ice cream!
